The VCOs of the the EMS synthesizers do not follow the 1V/octave standard. E.g. VCO1 and VCO2 of the EMS VCS3 use the very unusual 0.32V/octave scale and VCO3 uses 0.26V/octave. Therefore our devices (e.g. MCV4, MCV24, Dark Link, Dark Time, MAQ16/3) cannot be used as the CV scale of these devices is 1V/Octave.

But there are special interfaces for these synthesizer available on the market from other manufacturers. Just look for "EMS Midi interface" in one of the search engines (e.g. from Digitana Electronics or Kenton).
